On being asked if he was interested in battling Hulk Hogan, Cena responded with a dig at Hogan and TNA. He said that it’s not going to happen right now because Hulk Hogan is too busy wasting his time right now!

The Viper and his challenger inside the Philips Arena as Cody Rhodes tried to divert the attention of the Celtic Warrior defying the ringleader’s orders that there must not be any interference. The plan, as was obvious, failed since Orton was disqualified. Enraged, Orton manhandled Rhodes while Ted DiBiase attempted to intervene in an attempt to save his Legacy henchman. The Viper’s blind rage incited him to attack DiBiase too – while everyone forgot that that Irishman was now on his feet. SHeamus, then surprised Orton with a massive boot. And while the Celtic Warrior has now escaped the venomous teeth of the Viper, there is little doubt amongst the fans that the fangs are out and deadly.

However, The Rock will have a significant impact on the WWE programming and might just be a semi-permanent guest host for RAW this entire summer!

As he stated, he does intend to go back and host the show. According to him: Hosting the show would give him the opportunity to get on the mic, not bother about the writing and invite guests to host the show with him. This, he claims, is cool and fun for the audience. And doubtlessly, a big event given the reputation the Rock holds.

Apparently, the idea of three hours of RAW spawned at U.S.A. Networks and they come across as intent on seeing it though. However, all is not that simple, since both Vince and Stephanie McMahon are thought to be hostile to the plan.

Proceeding to met out the same treatment to Cena, the Irishman could not place this one correctly, because Cena managed to side step it in time. Cena also decided to fight back. That didn’t do much good though as the Celtic Warrior lost no time in recovering his composure and forcing Cena down with another pump kick. For good measure, Sheamus also slammed Triple H again, this time with a crucifix bomb and finally stood tall and alone in the ring ahead of the WWE Elimination Chamber. As if the electricity for WWE Elimination Chamber was not enough!

The tension inside the Wells Fargo Arena as Cena and Batista faced off was off the charts. It had barely been two weeks since Batista slammed Cena in to a step of steel steps. After Cena publicly challenged the Animal last week, he finally responded this week via TitanTron. Cena also accused Batista of siding with McMahon, he assured Cena that he’ll e at RAW next Monday for a face off against the man who called him ‘pathetic’.

Ted DiBiase is one tough nut – he suffered a kick in the face from Sheamus earlier in the evening but still managed to overcome Kofi Kingston in the second single of the night prior to the Elimination Chamber on Sunday.

Jerry Springer for MC during “WWE’s most intimate relationships revealed” proved to be a rather lurid proposition – so much so that Springer himself blushed at the results. Kelly Kelly admitted to THE controversy that she was pregnant, and hence speculation about who the father might be began. Santino Marella, Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Chris Masters, The Great Khali and even Hornswoggle stepped forth to take credit! Add to that, the confession that Brie of the Bella twins is actually a man! Jerry was overdosed so the start let him off, telling him that they’d concocted the whole thing! Mae Young then sent of the talker with a bang.

Big show and The Miz had a lot to rejoice about last week when they beat DX and the Straight Edge Society to win the Tag Team Chamionship. However, not all was well – they lost to Mark Henry & MVP when The Franchise Playa pinned Miz, who is also the United States Champion.

Bret Hart had an accident after WWE Universe address

After the long spat with McMahon, Bret Hart declared that he will be leaving for good and thanked all the start and fans who supported him in his final address. As he was leaving the arena, an undisclosed woman rammed her car into Hart squeezing his legs between the car and another automobile. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in an ambulance – we’ll update this space whenever we have more information.

The Celtic Warrior wins against the Viper by disqualification

Sheamus won against Randy Orton because Orton’s Legacyt henchmen interfered in the match causing Orton to be instantly disqualified. A livid Viper then proceeded to berate his protégés. His saving grace? He left the Irishman immobile with an RKO after Sheamus pump-kicked DiBiase.

In gist, this is what he had to say:

It was nice to see Jeremy Borash, an old friend from TNA, while I was in Nashville. We spent quite some time together without even discussing wrestling but some people simply love jumping to conclusions –one such idiot started the rumour that I would go into TNA next – although how anyone could possibly assume that I would let Hogan and Bischoff threaten my Hitman persona again is beyond my comprehension!

However, The Undertaker seems to have been least bothered about the rest of the fighters ever since he conquered the World Championship. He only has eyes for Wrestlemania XXVI – to him, this was yet another fly to squat. Indeed, Wrestlemania XXVI is a frightening proposition for the other challengers now that the Deadman is a finalist, all the more so with his 17-0 streak. But the grandest stage of them all always has a few surprises in store for us!

After Triple H pedigreed Cena while HBK ‘floored’ the unsuspecting ally with his trademark Sweet Chin Music! Michales along with Cena, Jericho, Batista and the shocker Edge made it to the finals. Here, the shocker dumped his former Tag team partner while HBK was taken out by the Animal crushing Michael’s dreams of a rematch with the Undertaker. As three world champions left the ring, battered and bruised, the ring was on fire. It was brutal but Cena finally managed to get the better of Batista tossing him out. This was the moment to strike and when has Edge ever missed an opportunity! The last spot for Wrestlemania was sealed.

With a little less than two months in hand, the nine time World Champion will travel to Phoenix, Arizona. What awaits him there is a story for another day – for now Edge was the phenomenon at WWE Royal Rumble!
