A Devious Viper Hold on to WWE Championship at Summerslam

Submitted on August 26, 2009 No Comment

A viper as you know is a poisonous snake, nocturnal in its habits. On Sunday last we came across a viper of another kind in the WWE arena.

SummerSlam witnessed Randy Orton, the current WWE Champion, endeavouring to slide past his challenger John Cena using all types of deception. Most of Orton’s advances were blocked by Cena, but one curious opening gave the reigning Champion the needed leverage to stifle the challenge from Cena and to hold on to the WWE Title.

WWE

Initially, Orton attempted for a disqualification, thinking that the title cannot be swapped owing to a debarment. WWE Chairman, McMahon, put his foot down on this proposal. Randy Orton was also prepared to be beaten by count out, as a count out will not qualify the title to change hands. But, McMahon was against this idea too.

It was now apparent that he must confront Cena to continue holding the title and Orton, grudgingly entered the ring. Cena was on the verge of triumph when a fanatical associate entered the ring and attacked the referee. The Viper made the most of this disturbance, swiftly tackling Cena and delivering a wreaking RKO to trap Cena for the victory.

It is now clear that the Viper of the WWE variety will use any underhand means to hold on to his title as far as the WWE Championship is concerned.
