The title match for the WWE Championship is being highly anticipated as CM Punk will be defending his title against Ziggler on the Royal Rumble’s 25th anniversary. John Laurinaitis will be the special guest referee for the match, he announced. Punk sees this match of Royal Rumble as an excellent opportunity to make his opponent taste dust and stay in tuning with Mr. Laurinaitis as well. Dolph Ziggler see the match as a chance to transform whatever he said into actions and being the proud owner of the WWE Championship. Jack swagger was defeated by CM Punk which had lead to the banning of Swagger and Guerrero from the ring-side at the Royal Rumble.
After to-and-fro matched taking place, the two Star Wrestlers which includes Ziggler who wants to become the ‘real’ champion by defeating Punk, Ziggler and Punk finally met for the big event, making sure pay-per-view’s memorable 25th anniversary.
The highly flagrant open insult came to the good fortune of CM Punk on the night of final match, the Monday Night Raw 2011. The Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis had his cards prepared to be against the Second City Savior, who was to put up a performance to make the people from his hometown Chicago happy by leaving the arena victorious.
A distraction from Mr. Laurinaitis gave Ziggler an opportunity to make his moves and pin Punk which has made The Voice of Voiceless quiet for a few moments. Ziggler moved around the Chicago’s Allstate Arena while showing off the WWE Championship in his hand which once belonged to Punk, while Punk could do nothing but watch him do this.
So on the first fight of Monday Night Raw 2012, Punk and Ziggler were found standing against each other, for the WWE Championship title. Tensions created by Mr. Laurinaitis were the subject of focus rather than an end to the competition between two Superstars. WWE Universe will see these two contenders facing each other again on 29th January, Royal Rumble at St. Louis. The Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim GM of Raw will be in between them, taking the competition on a new level.
